Our Mission

To advance the adoption of solar and other renewable energy sources across the Pacific Region. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to driving meaningful change by leveraging resources and expertise to support impactful education.  With a commitment to transparency the Pacifica Renewable Energy Training Alliance Inc. (PRETA) was founded in 2024 through collaboration among renewable energy professionals, electrical industry professionals and suppliers, and standards and compliance professionals whose mission is to advance the adoption of solar and other renewable energy sources across the Pacific Region.

As the impacts of climate change, including rising sea levels, persist, several countries are taking the lead globally and within Pacifica nations by reducing their reliance on fossil fuels and transitioning to renewable electricity generation. PRETA will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration throughout the Pacific, to assist countries and communities to become more energy independent and resilient through successfully transitioning to clean, green renewable energy.
